Biography

Prof. Dr. Md. Ehtashamul Hoque specialized in all types of Oncological treatment. Such as-Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, Immunotherapy & Palliative Cancer Care. Prof. Dr. Md. Ehtashamul Hoque completed his MBBS from Chittagong Medical College in 1988. Then he completed his M. Phil (Radiotherapy) degree from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (Ex. IPGMR) in 1999. 

Prof. Dr. Md. Ehtashamul Hoque started his carrier as a Medical officer at Kawokhali Upazila Health Complex, Rangamati in 1991. After a longer period of working in different areas of Bangladesh, he joined Resident Surgeon in the Radiotherapy unit at Dhaka Medical College. After that, he became Assistant Professor Radiation Oncology Department, NICRH in 2007. Thereafter he joined Anwar Khan Modern Medical College Hospital & became Head of the Department, Oncology. Then he Became Director, Admin Anwar Khan Modern Medical College Hospital in 2017. Besides this, he worked in Ahsania Mission Cancer Hospital & United Hospital Limited as a Consultant. Now he works at Labaid Cancer Hospital & Super Speciality Center as Senior Consultant, Radiation Oncology & Oncology from 2021. 

Last two decades he developed skilled manpower like doctors, nurses, and technicians. Through his teaching profession, he developed extraordinary Oncologists & Doctors throughout Bangladesh. He gives lectures on oncology in different areas of Bangladesh to train general practitioners and oncologists so that cancer care can be reached to every cancer patient of Bangladesh. He attends many national & international conferences, Seminars & Workshops as a Speaker. He also does public awareness programs on “prevention and treatment of cancer” in different parts of Bangladesh with general people and attends different Health & Cancer related talk shows as a TV & Media Person. 

Prof. Dr. Md. Ehtashamul Hoque affiliated with different National & International Societies. Such as-Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA), Bangladesh Society of Radiation Oncology (BSRO), Bangladesh Cancer Society (BCS), National Cancer Center (Singapore), Canadian Association of Radiation Oncology (CARO), American Society of Radiation Oncology (Astro), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), European Society of Medical Oncology (EMSO), European Society of Therapeutic Radiology (ESTRO), American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), International Association for Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC), European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) 

Prof. Dr. Md. Ehtashamul Hoque published many kinds of research works in national & international journals. Also, he participated in a different training sessions in his 30 years longest successful & glorious career.
