Biography

Prof. Dr. M. A. Khan has a very longest successful & glorious career. He is specialized in Hematology, Hemato-Oncology & Bone Marrow transplants. He had 20-year experience in Hematology & Hemato-Oncology. Also, he has 06-year experience in Bone Marrow transplantation. 

Prof. Dr. M. A. Khan completes MBBS, then FCPS in Hematology. He also completed his FRCP degree from Edin. He also takes Special Training in Bone marrow Transplant from the USA & Singapore.

Prior to joining Labaid Cancer Hospital & Super Speciality Centre he worked in Dhaka Medical College & Hospital as a Professor of Hematology & Bone Marrow Transplantation, Dept of Hematology. 

Prof. Dr. M. A. Khan Established Hematology department in 10 Govt institutes/Hospitals. He Established Bone Marrow Transplantation first ever in Bangladesh at DMCH in 2014. Before this 52 Transplants with 5 Allogeneic transplantation is done. In 2020 worked on convalescent plasma against COVID-19. He has More than 35 national & International publications. Also, he participated in different National & International Conferences as a speaker.
