Biography

Dr. Mostafa Aziz Sumon completed his MBBS degree from Mymensingh Medical College, Under the University of Dhaka in 2001. Then he completed his Post Graduation MCPS in Radiotherapy MD in Radiation Oncology in 2012.

Currently, he working as a Head of the Department, Oncology, Kurmitola General Hospital, Dhaka. He joined as a Consultant, Radiation Oncology in Labaid Cancer Hospital & Super Speciality Center from 2021. He is also worked in Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital consultant of Oncology. 

He was declared as ESMO- Leader of Asia (LGP Progroam-2019). He was awarded “ABMF GOLD MEDAL” for best paper in 11th SAARC Federation of Oncology Cancer Congress 2016. He is trained in Bologna University, Italy, and National University Hospital Singapore. He is an IAEA fellow and the Country Coordinator of a multinational, multicenter trial on “Evidence-based on lab medicine in Oncological practice” under Yamaguchi University, Japan.
