Biography

Dr. Md Abdul Mannan is a dedicated personel in Clinical Oncology. Currently he is working as a Co-ordinator in the department of Radiation Oncology.

Dr. Mannan completed his MBBS degree in 2012 under Dhaka University. He passed FCPS “Part One”  in Internal Medicine and done his training in Internal Medicine near about 3 years. In July, 2020 he completed his MD degree in Clinical Oncology (Medical & Radiation Oncology) from Khwaja Yunus Ali Cancer Centre Under Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (PG Hospital).

Dr. Mannan has passed the Immuno-Oncology course from Harvard Medical School, Boston(USA) with more than 90% mark. He possess a brief knodledge in Immunotherapy practice.

He has done his training in both Medical & Radiation Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital (India), Max Hospital & Super Specialty Centre (India), IAEA (The International Atomic Energy Agency), National University Cancer Institute (Singapore), Farrer Park Hospital (Singapore), Princess Margaret Hospital (Hongkong).

Dr. Mannan is a cancer researcher with significant experience in clinical research. He Has various paper presentation on Clinical Oncology in home and abroad.

Dr. Mannan is the first Oncologist who has the rare opportunity to deliver his work in Medical Oncology in the prestigious European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) congress. He is also the first oncologist who has the opportunity to showcase his work in Radiation Oncology in European Society for Radiotherapy & Oncology (ESTRO) congress.

Dr. Mannan received several grants and awards from the ESMO and ESTRO(European Society of Radiation Oncology and Oncology),  IASLC, and presented his scientific papers in various international conferences held in Singapore, Hong Kong, Turkey. He is an active member of ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology), ESTRO (European Society for Radiotherapy & Oncology) ESMO (European Society for Medical Oncology), and IASLC (International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer).
